This match was marked as the first match to be jointly hosted by the J-League and the WE LEAGUE. From the early stages, NIPPON TV TOKYO VERDY BELEZA dominated the match and finished the first half with the lead. In the beginning of the second half, #17 Aoba Fujino of NIPPON TV TOKYO VERDY BELEZA scored her first goal in the WE LEAGUE, giving her team a greater lead. However, the ball unluckily hit the bar, resulting in no goal. In the 60th minute, INAC KOBE LEONESSA responded when #9 Mina Tanaka laid-off a cross by #24 Fukina Mizuno to #17 Yui Narumiya, who then fired a mid-range shot. Narumiya’s shot saw the back of the net and INAC KOBE LEONESSA took the lead. Following their goal, INAC KOBE LEONESSA continued to take hold of the rest of the match, and they won their 13th match of the season. They are now just one step away from winning the league title.

SANFRECCE HIROSHIMA REGINA scored the opener when #13 Konomi Taniguchi met a vertical pass from #2 Yuna Matsubara. After successfully converting a penalty to extend their lead to 2-0 before the end of the first half, SANFRECCE HIROSHIMA REGINA scored their third goal in the 62nd minute when #11 Yoshino Nakashima met a pass from #13 Konomi Taniguchi and found the back of the net. OMIYA ARDIJA VENTUS tried to attack back by substituting in #10 Mizuho Sakaguchi and #17 Yuka Toriumi, who were making their first appearances in the WE LEAGUE, but they were unable to score and the match ended 0-3. SANFRECCE HIROSHIMA REGINA earned their long-awaited first home game victory.
