The game got moving in the 15th minute, when #16 Yuna Sonoda of ALBIREX NIIGATA LADIES hit a shot which deflected off an opponent, and #7 Mizuki Sonoda, who was in the position to pick up the second ball, calmly netted a goal to take the lead. However, in the 17th minute, #27 Miyuki Takahashi of OMIYA ARDIJA VENTUS scored her second goal of the season against her former team, to bring the game back to an even score. Both teams continued to create scoring opportunities throughout the second half, yet neither team was able to find the net. ALBIREX NIIGATA LADIES drew for the second straight game, and OMIYA ARDIJA VENTUS drew for the sixth straight game.

MITSUBISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES URAWA REDS LADIES set the pace throughout the first half, but were unable to find the net. In the 55th minutes, #9 Yuika Sugasawa broke the deadlock with a strike into the near side of the net, and two minutes later, Sugasawa scored again, marking her ninth goal of the season, and becoming the current top scorer of the league. CHIFURE AS ELFEN SAITAMA closed the gap to one goal in the 62nd minute with a goal by #14 Chika Kato, and in the 77th minute, #29 Hikaru Yumura headed home a corner kick to equalize the score from a two-goal deficit. But when the game seemed to be over, in the 89th minute, #17 Yu Endo, who came off the bench, scored the clincher, giving MITSUBISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES URAWA REDS LADIES a 3-2 win and a five-game unbeaten streak.
