ALBIREX NIIGATA LADIES, the home team, started the game with shots from #10 Megumi KAMIONOBE and #17 Yume TAKIKAWA, but failed to score. With the two teams having the same number of total season points as each other, this match was particularly important for both teams. JEF UNITED ICHIHARA CHIBA LADIES (AWAY) saw #6 Yurina IMAI dribbled the ball through the middle and tried to score a goal aggressively, but missed the target. Later, AC NAGANO PARCEIRO LADIES were the first to create a scoring opportunity. INAC KOBE LEONESSA were the first to take the lead. IN the 30th minutes, #9 Mina TANAKA received a pass from #3 Mayo DOKO, skillfully controlled the ball past the opponent to shot with her left foot. This was opening goal and marked TANAKA’s first goal since 2022-23 Yogibo WE LEAGUE MATCHWEEK 4. SANFRECCE HIROSHIMA REGINA saw in the 72nd minutes, #8 Rika MASUYA found the through ball by #11 Yoshino NAKASHIMA and scored with looping shot to level the score. INAC KOBE LEONESSA contined to attack aggressivly towards the end of the match, but a strong and solid defense led by #1 Runa KONOMI of SANFRECCE HIROSHIMA REGINA denied them of any chances, ending the match with 1-1. SANFRECCE HIROSHIMA REGINA earned 1 point and moved up to the 5th place in the table. As INAC KOBE LEONESSA lost the top spot to MITSUBISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES URAWA REDS LADIES in the previous WE LEAGUE MATCHWEEK, ending this match with a tie making difficult for INAC KOBE LEONESSA for looking to win their second consecutive WE LEAGUE title.

The match got moving in the 25th minutes when #20 Momoka KINOSHITA of NIPPON TV TOKYO VERDY BELEZA won the ball near the center line, and after an exchange of passes with #10 Rikako KOBAYASHI, she got the ball again to score the opner. Further in the 31st minutes, #11 Aoba FUJINO cut in from the right side and scored the second goal, giving NIPPON TV TOKYO VERDY BELEZA a two- goal lead to end the first half. MYNAVI SENDAI LADIES had been under the relentless attack by NIPPON TV TOKYO VERDY BELEZA from the start of the second half, but in the 53rd minutes, #10 Emi NAKAJIMA intercepted the ball in front of the goal. After receiving the ball, #14 Manaka MATSUKUBO scored her first goal in the WE LEAGUE, giving the MYNAVI SENDAI LADIES the gap to 1 goal. Looking to respond for a turnaround, MYNAVI SENDAI LADIES lost one player who was sent off, leaving them at a numerical disadvantage. NIPPON TV TOKYO VERDY BELEZA launched many shots but were unable to score any additional goals. However they successfully defended their lead and earned the three points with a-six match unbeaten sterak.

The two teams were evenly matched with both creating scoring opportunities, but failed to convert any of them, ending the first half with 0-0. NOJIMA STELLA KANAGAWA SAGAMIHARA saw, in the 47th minutes, #5 Risako OGA directly headed in a free kick from #10 Ami SUGITA, but unfortunately it hit the goal post. OMIYA ARDIJA VENTUS saw #14 Rana OKUMA, who had scored a goal in the previous meeting, attempted a shot. but failed to score. In the final minutes of the match, NOJIMA STELLA KANAGAWA SAGAMIHARA went on the attack more aggreesively to create chacnces with #27 Kana FUJIWARA’s dribble and #22 Juri ITO’s mid-range shot, but OMIYA ARDIJA VENTUS responded well in defending their goal, led by goalkeeper #1 Arisa MOCHIZUKI. NOJIMA STELLA KANAGAWA SAGAMIHARA had more shots than OMIYA ARDIJA VENTUS, but the score remained the same. Again, just as in the previous meeting, the match ended in a draw.
